Precut window tint for our trucks!
First time I ever saw a computer cut kit for the 67-72's. These make it idiot proof: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Precu...spagenameZWD1V

Re: Precut window tint for our trucks!
Interesting. Around here I can get the truck tinted for 50.00 - 75.00. That is almost as much as that tint with shipping. Plus it has a warranty and if They screw up a piece I don't have to buy another one and ship it. JMHO. It is interesting though.

Re: Precut window tint for our trucks!
I wonder if the glass needs to be out of the doors for it to fit right?

Re: Precut window tint for our trucks!
Tint jobs are cheap in hot, sunny states. It's almost something that people don't even consider living without in those areas. Simple supply and demand.

Re: Precut window tint for our trucks!
So how does these install, anyway? I've seen some really hack-jobs full of bubbles here in texas. I've always been afraid to do something like that myself. Seems like a real cuss-magnet to me.

Re: Precut window tint for our trucks!
You have to get your windows perfectly clean. It's best to work in a garage to avoid dust. I usually spray the window with a spray bottle containing a few drops of liquid soap. Peel the liner off the precut tint and start spraying it to keep it wet and slippery. I have a squeegee just for window tint that is smooth rubber. Work the bubbles out from the center. I spray the top surface with more water so my squeegee glides across the tint and doesn't rip it. Keep the surface wet while you are working it! Don't roll the windows down for 24 hours. I just did my ZR2 with a kit back in the summer.
