Finally decided to sell my old project truck. I will try to describe as best as possible, and can get some pictures later today. (It's storming here now)
It's an 81 Silverado that i've owned since about 85, needs paint, changed out bed, new GM fenders, fiberglass cowl induction hood, lowered 5" (truck was lowered in 86, so it had Trail Master front springs, with the lower ball jts, moved inward to correct alignment) and a rear flip kit, Doestch Tech Nitro Slam'r shocks, poly bushings thru out, except rear leafs, rear tailgate skin, with handle moved to the inside, rear metal roll pan that has never been installed, Chek-R Products flush mount bed cover, (needs new lift cylinders)
Has a SBC out of an 85 4wd that was installed when I pulled my BBC, not sure of displacement, as it ran good when the 4wd was wrecked, so we just installed it. Has a 700R4, that shifts good, 3.42 open rear, (I shattered the clutch plates in the original 3.08 posi with the BBC, and c/o the rear to keep the truck rolling)
Truck is about complete, but stripped for paint, has 96 chevy rallys, but will throw in 2-10" 5 hole alum rims w/ 295/50 Dunlops with 80% tread. Needs a dash pad, as the orig. is cracked.
Truck has not been street driven much in 6 years and I need it out the yard. Has current registration. I run it a few miles every month to keep everything working. Truck just needs paint, and some int. work to finish.
