Good Guys Scottsdale
So I went yesterday... probably more trucks today, but I just can't muster up the energy to go back! Oh and sorry for the crappy pics... I kept worrying about bumping into the car next to me!

Re: Good Guys Scottsdale
I took pics of a lot of the same trucks as you this afternoon (Sat)!
I talked to that guy with the yellow pickup (last) for nearly an hour. He showed me his CPP electric brake pump, and how to do a few other interesting things. Hella nice guy. I invited him to join the forum - hopefully he'll turn up. Ill try to get my pics up tomorrow... but they are on my phone.

Re: Good Guys Scottsdale
Yeah, I spent about an hour talking to him on Friday. His truck caught my eye when he was cruisin around the grounds. Great guy. I invited him to the forum too, but he said he wasn't much into computers. His brake setup was pretty neat. A little rich for my blood though.
I talked to a few other guys out there, but most had paid to have their trucks built, and they didn't even know what they had! Kinda sad if you ask me. Oh, and I have to put this here... I remember some big rigs posted a while back but I couldn't find the thread. I know it's a F**D, BUT... this thing was AWESOME! (Bottom 3 pics)

Re: Good Guys Scottsdale
I agree with you about most of the 67-72 owners either not being friendly or not being knowledgeable. My girlfriend and I still had a blast though (she goes nuts over every bel-air in sight..).
I did talk to one guy for a while with a primer yellow 72 LWB about what he did to get his suspension stance, and the dude showed me how to build a pretty nasty hitch and and hide it behind the plate frame. Woulda been nice to say hello to you Riveted1. The guy who owned that yellow 67 was one of the few people ive talked to in person who is really into these trucks.

Re: Good Guys Scottsdale
Yeah, would've been nice to say hello to you too! I figured I might run into a few board members hanging around these trucks.... but no luck. Must've been the $15 ticket keeping people away.
