Texas K5s
Here are some pics of a few of the guys from this evening. A few of us got together at Rudy's (local BBQ) and talked Blazers. We had a pretty good variety of vehicles.
Junk original (JTRUX's Blue 71) NICE original (72LEVI's Ochre 72) Awesome Custom (AJs72K5's Silver/Purple 72) Lifted Junk (Critter's Green 72) BlueThunder was also there but he drove his daily driver Jeep. The pics could have been a little better, it started getting dark. Anyway we had fun, definitely need to do it again.

Re: Texas K5s
I love how you categorize the different blazers, especially mine
I had a lot of fun. It would be worth it for anyone to come down and see 72Levi's Blazer, it is awesome, completely original 30,000 mile truck...unreal. Critter's as usual just took up space and mine sounded lovely as I drove by the line of people waiting to buy there food (open headers). I managed to get someone to yell at me about my loud pile of junk and wave his hand at me...of course I proceeded to rev it up at him. AJ's is real nice and the big block sounds awesome. Don't anybody go giving him hell about the wheels and tires and he does have a really cool 14 bolt full floater with 6 lug outers to handle those huge tires.

Re: Texas K5s
Guys, Def nice meet at Rudy's, Critter: my wife likes the height of yours. She's begging me to do mine like that, I tell her hmmmm... how bad do you want me to do it like that Anyway guys we def need to do this again. Jtrux, I loved the open headers, just like the old days! AJ nice truck, esp the A+ paint job. All we need is Blue Thunder's K5 and we have 5 TX K5's. Hopefully we can grow this in south Texas. Thanks guys and see you at the next one, very soon.

Re: Texas K5s
There are actually a few more guys around here. Blue Thunder's brother Blizz and Herb101 need to join in next time. Is there any other K5s on here from the S.A. area that I am forgetting?

Re: Texas K5s
Guys, I had a great time. All the trucks were awsome. I can't wait to do the motor swap next weekend so I can hopefully drive it to the next meet and greet. Maybe Blizz and Herb101 and my cousin can make it out there. That would make 8 K5's. I'll post the pics tomorrow. They are the same as Critter's, but I was able to get them brighter. Anyways, def had fun tonight, Good to meet Richard and AJ. Look for the pics tomorrow. Later. Mario.

Re: Texas K5s
You were really there just by accident? What a coincidence. Next time make sure that you are there in your Blazer! We will have to do it again soon, maybe first week or two of December. I'm probably going to have to have the top on for that one!
