new user here

here is my 67 c-10. it is in about as original of condition as possible. so far i have been concentrating on the engine and getting everything working properly on the truck. i want to keep it completely stock. one thing i do want to change is to get rid of the oil bath air filter but keep the air cleaner. has anybody tried cutting out the filter part of the lid or is there a lid available that uses a paper element?

Welcome to the board. Nice job on the engine compartment. That rear bumper is really interesting...never seen one quite like that.

Welcome to the site. You`ll love it.That`s a fine start on a`67.The oil bath air cleaner was an option.I`d sell that to someone that wants a complete original set-up,or set it aside, and buy a a cartrige-type.The parts section is a great resource here.Just mind that they want you to subscribe before initiating any dealings. But,you`re free to scan the section and wait until you see one listed.Alot of parted-out trucks in there from time to time.

Re: new user here

How much of a pain is it to replace the turn signal switch? I think that will be this weekends project.
