47-53 hood hinge spring pic request

I need some help with hooking up my hood spring. If someone can post a picture of how it is suppose to be hooked up, it would help.

When I try to hook up the spring from the hood to the fire wall mounting tab, the spring would need to be at an extreme angle, and does not look right.

if you go to www.truckandcarshop.com and their catalog on pg. 49 their is a picture. the catolog i have is from nov. 2006 so the page may be different on new catalog. just checked online and picture is on pg. 49

Thanks, I checked out the catalog but I really need to see the spring attached to the hood and the firewall to see what angle the spring should be at. The catalog picture does not help with that aspect.
