After Texas K5 meet

Well guys, after seeing all the running K5's on Sunday I was re-inspired to get mine running. As soon as I got home I took the radiator and shroud off (in the dark) in preperation for the engine swap. The radiator was leaking so I dropped it off at a radiator shop on Monday to get flushed and patched. I'll probably need another one later on , but this should get me running. I'm hoping to do the swap on Saturday after Thanksgiving but it depends on the weather. I'll probably buy the starter and the harmonic balancer tomorow. After those two items, I should be good to go. I'll update with pics of the swap. Later. Mario.

Re: After Texas K5 meet

Keep an eye on the board for the next meet. I think we are gonna try to do this once a month. Let everyone on the p/u forum from S.A. know. I can see it now, a convoy of 67-72 p/u's and Blazers invading Rudy's BBQ (or whatever location we pick). They definately draw crowds. Anyways, I could go on and on. My name is Mario and I'm on the NW side of town. Where are you at? Later.
