Inside Door Panel
I have taken out everything inside the cab of my 66 truck getting it ready to paint. I wanted to go back with something different on the inside door panels other than painting them the same as everything else inside the cab.
Does anyone have any pictures of what they have done to theirs? |

Re: Inside Door Panel
I used a texture paint on mine followed by a clearcoat. They seel it at wal-mart around $7.00 a can and lots of different colors to chose from.

Re: Inside Door Panel
Auto Zone has some rolled headliner material that is real easy to form/work with. Use it with some 3M spray adhesive. Spray the panel and the back of the material, let tack up for 30 seconds, work from the center out and your done! comes in tan, gray, red, or black - Jerry

Or just find pretty much any fabrick you like. I used super 77 by 3m for the spray adhesive and it worked out pretty good.

Re: Inside Door Panel
I can not tell that the gas tank on mine was ever in the cab. But these late model seats are a tight fit. I think it would be a problem for anyone over or close to 6'. You could still bolt them in even if the tank was in the cab, and still have some room for adjustment, just not sure how much.
