Question Hood Lock!

What is every one running for theft prevention, to keep all those high dollar prefromance parts on there motor. Not some one elses! The only thing I have seen is instead of hood pins, hood pins with little keys to pop the hood. Just curious what you guys are running. AND NO, CHAINS AND PADLOCKS DONT COUNT.

Re: Hood Lock!

NAPA has, or had, a hood lock/release that we can use on older (our) trucks. I bought two of them, several years ago. Still have them and still have the boxes. I'll rummage through the jun-rage (jungle/garage) and see what the P/N is and maybe they still have them.

Re: Hood Lock!

I think itn was Putter that did a super clean inside hood release thing a while back. he use the handle and cable from a 88-98 Chevy truck and it is all hidden out of sight.
