Shorty's BBQ trailer...I got the smoker today.
When my buddy bought his '71 stepside [Shorty], I never figured he'd be swappin' it out so soon, but he found another frame and we went to work. With the help of some good friends, we got a new frame attached and he's well on his way to returning the truck to the normal length.
I wanted the shortened frame and bed for a project.....I decided to build a Chevy Stepside BBQ trailer! I have a buddy to help me with the fenders which were butchered. Also hacked was the frame but since a trailer only needs an axle and not a rear end, I will be able to get around that problem. You'll see more in the pics....I traded an Aromatic Cedar Aquarium Cover for the smoker. Here's a few pics of the frame, bed and smoker.... http://www.hannawoodworks.com/Shortytrailer.html

I can't wait to see how this pan's out. This would be a hit at the local car cruises!
