Where to mount Driving lights
Hey anyone have auxillary driving lights on there truck? Just wondering how and where you mounted them. I ordered a set of Piaa 520 SMR's, don't really want to drill the bumper to mount them, but don't have a roll bar or brush guard, anyone have lights behine the grill? how well do they work? Kinda looking at getting a push bar but I'll have to take the low speed bumpers off. Any ideas?

Re: Where to mount Driving lights
I've got a set of 150W deer spotters that I mounted on the bumper, but mine is a rusty old POS. I can understand not wanting to drill the bumper, but how about using the bumper mounting bolts? Remove a bolt, put it through the light bracket, put it back through the bumper. Voile'.

Re: Where to mount Driving lights
I like the first picture with the lights behind the grille. This works well if you have the small tube type grille. With a factory type grille, it would most likely block too much of the light, rendering the light pretty much useless. That depends alot on the particular grille design.
Mounting them below the bumpers works fine, but depends if its a 4x4 or 4x2.. and how low the truck rides. You could always put an 81-82 style bumper on it and mount the auxillary lights in the square holes.
