I am looking for a decent pic of the floor supports that go inside the torsion box.
I think the part i need to look at the most is the inside part that attaches over or on the body mount in the front. The rear I don't know were it goes it doesn't seem to fit anywhere.

I ordered "slip on"

style supports by mistake and sandblasted them so I cant return them. I can make the parts that are missing. (if i knew what it looked like)

I have none left at all on my blazer to use as reference.

Rusty Parts:
Does the floor pan butt the kick panel or go under it. I notice you have the kick panel tacked to the front support. Both mine are so bad I cannot tell Thanks

My opinion, for 20 bucks from Goodmark, it might be easier to buy. As far as the rear mount goes, it is located on the step up into the bed, but there is not much toit. If I suspect what you bought for a pickup, then you could return that pc. for your front cab mount. J.

Thats help full thanks I had them upside down and didn't know it. The pieces I have are a little shorter on the inside were it mounts at the body mount. It wont be hard to make the part I need. Ill post up a pic this week when I can work on it. I have never worked with sheet metal this way or have ever done body work for now I like forming pieces and making it work. trying to at least.

Does the rear go on the floor at the step or on the bed side of the step?

I sand blasted the parts I don't think they want them back.

The rear mount is on the bed side, not much more then a tube or 'U' that the carriage bolt goes thru. Here's a pic

It looks like I have a left and right rear cab support for a PICKUP to sell now LOL

im going to make that front piece right now. I just checked and its a balmy 30 degrees outside. and the non-insulated shop should be the same.

CHESTY never *****ed about it being cold so I cant either.

Yeah, I kinda figured that on the extra mount. Seems like alot of people make that mistake.

Tuff luck onthe cold, long time ago I started out under the shade tree, got tired of that quick, and built my shop...

I just looked at the lmc book and it shows both front and rear supports, slip on only for blazers.

Thats why I ended up with it.
as far gone as the front one was I figured the rear must have rusted away or been taken out at one time and not replaced. I'm going to use the rear one for parts to make the front one whole.

do you or anyone have the total length of the floor support there? I came to approximitaly 16" end to end. If its wrong its going to push or pull that A pillar in or out if its wrong.

If I understand you correctly, your looking for the length of the cab support mount, from the 'Z' channel to the inside of the rocker box? Mine just measured 13 1/2". LMK

13 1/2 is what it is. I measured all the way outside of the A pillar.

I started to fab that piece last night and its 13 1/2, I dont know why I was thinking 16?

I used the flanges off the pickup rear support to make the front longer. Its not much of a loss really, it gives me more scrap sheet metal to patch with.
