Picked up a new shifter thingamabob

At the junk yard last Friday I picked me up one of those fancy chrome shifters out of a CST blazer for 30 bucks. My question is did the 4 speed shifter in a 4 speed equipped CST blazer get chromed or was it black. I want to sort of recreate the look in my blazer.

Yes, a CST blazer would have had a matching chrome plated 4 speed trans shift lever along with that chrome transfer case shift lever, same goes for the cheyenne super, the sierra grande and alot of the gmc 4wd customs. Cb

DUDE, you just lost MAN points. NEVER EVER use the word thingamabob again. Look out for a giant beer can falling out of the sky. This concludes the "MAN" lesson of the day. Later. Mario.

CST??!? You don't have a CST. Is this because I said I'd let you have my CST badges???

Yeah, Jtrux is living in a dreamworld where all his painted stuff turns to chrome. I am in a similar world where all my rust turns to shiny new metal!

Damn, looks like it'll be mismatched for now. Little by little it's becoming a fully optioned blazer. Right now i'm battling converting it to power steering (didn't come with it) and next will be hydro clutch then Vintage Air. Sometime i'll get around to the rusty floors. Oh and I need new gears.
