Yeah, I emailed the guy and asked if he would ship and he wrote that he had so much response locally that he wasn't interested in shipping...bummer!

Shipping is generally the responsibility of the buyer, seal the deal, send the money and tell the guy when their picking it up.

The problem is, is that someone has to pack it up and when I asked how much for shipping he wrote that he wasn't interested in shipping, I figured I was out of luck. No biggie...I'll get the next deal...hopefully.

Just bustin' with ya, I agree it's a bummer he wouldn't ship it.

Tough to get the rust free ones to come up here.

I've flown to AZ and driven back a blazer and driven to Texas to haul back a 2wd short bed big block truck but both those trips were for the fun of it as much as any thing else.

No problem, I told the guy to let me know if things don't work out locally.

I can't believe how hard it is to find parts in my area at all, much less anything decent ones.

Now those road trips sound like a good time. The wife and I are actually going to AZ this Friday for a long weekend, so I will be doing some truck hunting. Figuring out how to get stuff back on the airplane may be a challenge though?

If you make a deal with him and can have him drop the stuff off at my work (Wyoming and I40), I'll gladly ship the stuff.

Re: Good deal for someone...

That's mighty nice of you Rob, I'll email the guy and see if he still has it.
Thanks again.
