Check Your Computer for the Email Worm, FREE!
Ok, here is a link to test your computer for that NIMDA worm that has been infecting peoples e mails. IT IS FREE, SO TAKE THE TIME TO CHECK YOUR COMPUTER!
http://www.securityspace.org/smysecu..._nmda_amm.html I want to make it clear to everyone that when you get one of these e mails, it is not necisarrily from the person who it says is the sender! I know your are trying to be helpful, but I hate to see when people post "so and so" send me and e mail with a virus, when it is very likely that the person or his computer had nothing to do with it. That same e mail could have been sent from the same computer using many different e mail addresses. ------------------ Check out other members trucks 1968 50th Anniversary C-10 Suburban (Tows all these cars all over the place) 1968 50th Anniversary C-10 Pickup 1968 50th Anniversary C-20 Pickup CST, FOR SALE 1969 SS Camaro Conv't 1960 Lakewood Travel Trailer 1963 Ford Falcon Wagon, On Ebay for $1250 2000 Chevy Malibu (Suppose to be daily driver, but the Burb is) Phoenix, AZ. After reading about all this stuff on the board I did a full system scan last night and found nothing. I still printed this out, may come in handy some day. My nortons does a very good job and I found out a few weeks ago that my server scans email too. When they find something they email u the results. Thanks for the info.

I'm still getting emails from addresses that I don't recognize. They all say "Download Attachment". ??? I just keep deleting them. I keep my antivirus updated, hopefully I'm OK, everything looks good so far.

Make sure you update your anti-virus programs regularly! There are new ones every day.

My apologies to those that feel I have misrepresented them, I had not read the virus alert...did not know about how this virus attaches itself to other people email addresses.
All our members are resonable people... I was just trying to caution people not blast them in any way. I remember back a ways where the was a virus that did come from your own computer and was sent to all people in your email address book... times change ... viruses work differently. Still use caution opening attachments.
