Another Wheels and Tire Thread

I am thinking about using the Boze Flex 6 -17x8 wheel in a rubbed satin finish.

The tire size that I want to use is a 265/70R17 or 32x10.5R17.

The rim that are on their now are 15's with a 33x12.5R15.
The rear wheel looks fine but the front sticks out past the wheel well which I am not happy with.

How do I determine the best size/offset for the wheel/tire combination?

I guess you don't have any lift. I don't know if you're wanting opinions or not but mine would be to lift it to fit bigger tires with a 17 inch wheel. 35's on 17's look really good IMO. If it's just a street cruiser, go 4 inch lift. 6 inch does look a lot better but for the street all you need is 4 inches.

Can you tell if there is any lift from the photos?
I haven't checked it real closely yet as it is not stored at my home.

A few that have looked at it thought it was lifted slightly.
The previous owner did not do anything but thought if anything it might be slightly raised due to a previous spring lift.

I really do not want to lift it any further off the ground than it it now, but I am worried about the size of the wheel/tire ratio.

Can you tell from this photo?

I am running 17X9 Centerlines with a 4.5 inch backspace. My tires are 315/75/17 and they do not set outside the front fender. With what you are looking at, I would say a 3.5 to 4 inch backspace would work quite well The nice thing about running 17's is that there is no issues with clearance on the tie rod ends or dust shields while using wheels with the bigger backspacing.

Anything more than 4 1/2" backspacing and you have to reallly watch rubbing on the springs in the front and on the tub in the rear, and that is on a 10" rim. 4 1/2" backspacking is almost too much for an 8" rim. 4 1/2" is zero offset on an 8 incher. For road use, a 12.5" tire is really too wide for an 8" rim for maximum tire performance.

One of the things about running big tires is you have to move them out for steering and tub clearance. At least run a 9" rim and you might pull it off without rubbing and flush with the outside of the fender in front.

I just saw this rim in the newest Truckin Magazine and thought it would look good on the Blazer.
I would have the centers painted black with orange pinstipping.
They come in 16x10 and 16x8 with 4.5 backspacee.
Is anyone running 16x10's on a non lifted truck?
Opinions always welcomed.

Obviously it comes down to personal choice but I think running a small tire you need to be running 15" wheels.
Youre blazer is super clean, I would consider trying to find some supersingle II Weld wheels.
Also I was curious what size tire you are currantly running? They look like 33's.

The fronts stick out, which I am not happy with.
I want to use a 16x8 with either a Baja ATZ radial 285-75R16 > 33x11.5R16
or Baja ATZ radial 265-75R16 > 32x10.5R16
