first post!!!!!
Ok, I've been hanging around doing lots of reading last few weeks and found tons of great info and seen lots of great people helping others out and would like to get some info on sport bumpers... I have 3 swb's a 84 gmc sierra classic1500 2wd daily driver, 86 gmc sierra classic 2wd owned by my dad then me since new, and a 86 chevrolet silverado 2wd, (can't stop them from following me home) and i will post pics soon i hope lol!! so my ? is i want to put sport bumpers on 2 (all but my daily driver) I can get most of the brackets from the bone yard off a blazer or burb, but boy are those rear inners hard to find for these trucks without paying 80+bux for them .... just seems high to me so anyone know where to get any cheaper ?? ty for reading my rambling and hope ya'll can help !!!!!! Mike

Re: first post!!!!!
I have some inners off a blazer I parted out some time ago, do some research and if they will fit I will let you have them worth the money. Oh and it was an 86 if that helps.

Re: first post!!!!!
They are indeed different. IIRC, the Blazer and Burb inner brackets are part of the frame, and the pickups are cut off straight.

Re: first post!!!!!
wELCOME TO THE BOARD .
Alot of the guys here dont have inners on their trucks . Mostly done when you want to tuck your bumper (or move it closer in to the body . they say its stable enough without the inner bracket . hope this helps. |
