I plan on getting a 70 Chevelle, I've been shopping around for one, bad ass cars. A buddy of mine has a 10 second 72 Malibu. I really like the GMC Sprints too.

my stepdad has a 72 BB SS velle that he gutted most of interior of and let sit and rot for 18-19 years now and wont touch it still. originally gold with black stripes and 4 speed muncie,

could been a VERY sharp car.. now it needs quarters and rear cowl and fender and rad support and floor pieces, he sucks for letting it sit like this all this this time,,,

Ahhh, there you are Ya, how can I overlook this thread and our cool cars man? I couldn't copy and paste a single photo, so I supplied the link.
So, next time we all get together, ya'll want to start a traditional burn contest....excellent
Sorry I missed last weekend Jeff, I am STILL sick, I would not have had a very good time sad to say. BUT I think the guys are planning on attending the Turlcok swap meet on the 20th so if you are coming I will see the both of you there. If not, maybe we can jam to the dragstrip in either Sac or Famoso to run the Chevelle's.

Here's my '66 Chevelle SS with a 1963 400hp 409 in it. I also have 2 other Chevelles but they are Malibus so I guess they don't count.

Here's a pic of my '72 GMC Sprint 454 SP.
LS5 454, Turbo 400, 12 bolt 3.31 posi, A/C, PS, PB.
One of 30 built.
She's been beat up over the years, but everything is still there, and I'm in the process of collecting all the parts necessary to do an off-frame resto.
Maybe I should drop that Northstar engine in there......

I don't have any pics yet, should have some real soon of my recently acquired 1968 chevelle ss.The funny thing about this is I wasn't even looking for one.Last weekend my son and I were checking out the local flea market and we came across this guy who was selling the chevelle , he said it was a factory ss car but all he had was a couple of pictures. I gave him my # so I could go out and take a look at it. so I went out to take a look at it and I bought it on the spot. Every thing was all there except the factory 396 big block and trans.Ended up buying the car, a bb 454 block and heads, 2 -9inch ford rearend with disc brakes with 2.75 gears, factory bb air breather, gm bbc high riser and a few other small items that I just had to have.Lets just put it this way all was gotten for less than 2 grand. So I believe I got a great deal.
