Starting problem after vandalized
Okay... Battery is charged but when key is turned nothing. Put screwdriver on starter it starts.... Is this a switch or wiring problem.... all wires seem to be intact

If it doesn't look like they hacked the wires, they may have wrecked the switch trying to start it. See if you can get a switch from Chevy Garage or auto parts store. You might be able to press the tabs and get the connector off without pulling the whole switch from the dash and test it. I think you're dealing with the purple start wire. Also, look at the Neutral start safety switch if it's an auto. They may have unplugged it down there. Should be a plug with two purple wires in it. One comes from the ign switch, the other goes to the starter.
