made some progress
Hey guys,
I haven't posted for a while but i've made some signifigant progress. Got it down to a rolling frame. Got it up on stands tonight and purchased a pressure washer to get busy. Thing has tons of gunk  . I'm in the planning stages of my z, what thickness steel should i buy to do this? any tips would be appreciated. I plan to z the front and rear 3". Anyways- heres the pics:

I think I plated my Z with 3/16 or 1/4 either or would be good...

No problem... Looks good.. Take your time and measure measure measure..... measure in X's to keep it square before welding it up tight

Find two factory holes in the frame that are the same on both sides. Meaasure from the hole to another hole on the other frame rail. Then just do the opposite again.. It keeps things square... Also you might want to tack in some temporary crossmembers before you cut the front off. Here is a picture with the measuring and the temp. crossmember that i put in
