Converting to Dual Tanks
My SWB truck currently has only one gas tank. Having one tank is such a pain in the AZZ that I have been thinking about converting to dual tanks. I've actually thought of selling this truck and getting another one with dual tanks, but I like this truck. I have access to another SWB bed that is in good shape and has the gas door on the passenger side. How difficult would the conversion to two tanks be? What would I need besides the mounting brackets, hoses and the switching valve and switch? Does anyone have any alternatives to converting to two tanks? Thanks.

Re: Converting to Dual Tanks
ive heard that some people just run the hoses between the two tanks so that you carry two tanks of fuel but dont have the switches so its technically running off of two tanks at once, at least thats what ive read on here in at least one other thread
I have the dual tanks on my truck ( factory) and even tho it hurts when you get gas , its nice to have the range of two tanks
