350 injectors in a 262 and feeling stupid

Boy, I feel like an idiot, although I can't say I knew any better. So for my last post about no highway power, well seems I was shifting way too early and my RPMs weren't nearly as high as I thought....(According to a gear calculator). Maybe she just sounds angry, but I figured based on the noise I was getting over 3k in 4th at 65mph, seems I was wrong.

(Speaking of stupid......)

Anywho, I got an entire TBI set (everything!) from a 350 yesterday for only $50 and I was thinking about pulling the injectors and putting them in the 262. Yes, yes, I know about the different flow rates, but I wonder how well the ECM will adjust. What do you guys say? Anyone else try this? And what happened?
