FYI - HEI tach wiring harness now out from M&H

To all,

I just got off the phone with M&H Electrical Manufacturers and they have just come out with a replacement tach harness for 68-72 chevy w/HEI ignition. This comes with all of the correct connectors to just "plug-n-play". The M&H part number is 39695 and retails for around $27.00.

Yep but for the plug and play guys it has the corect Tach 90* plug and the correct HEI spade clip as well with a factory look. I just sniped and cliped for mine but for some it is a good deal I guess.

Tried looking for it on their site. No mention of that part number, just the regular HEI conversion wiring. No mention of the tach with it...

A friend of mine tells me they will also custom build harnesses for you. Say you want the HEI tach harness as mentioned above but.. you also have a one wire alternator. They can do that too (from what I'm told).

Below is a link to the M&H wiring harness catalog for Chevy trucks. Go to page 28. That's where the #39695 tach w/ HEI harness is listed. I believe there's a little more to the harness than a length of wire with two spade connectors. I'm pretty certain it has the two conductor "V" connector that goes to the tach and the correct connector to attach to your HEI dizzy. The other conductor should go to a switched 12VDC source I believe. Hope this helps.
