Im gonna have to remove rivets in the near future and was wondering what you guys found out to be the easiest way to get them out. Thanks

How big a rivet are you talking about?
small ones can be drilled out by using a drill bit just a little bit smaller than
the hole the rivet is in.

I use a air hammer with a sharp punch. Drilling works good to, I like to use a center punch first.

whoops sorry should have said what kind, im talking about like the big ball joint ones or crossmember, thanks

Plasma cutter all the way! But if you don't have one then I would grind off the head flush with the frame or control arm and use a big punch or air hammer with the punch tool.

Use A Die Grinder, Cut A Slot Like A Screw Driver. And Use A Air Chisel To Push It Off.

If they are where you can get at them easily I just use a large chisel sharpened on one side. Clamp it in some vise grips and hit it with a BFH. The heads usually pop right off. Punch out the rest with a good sturdy punch clamped in the vise grips. Be sure and wear some heavy gloves and safety glasses. If you can't get a good swing at the chisel then I would go with the grinder or air chisel method.

with Rokcrin...I don't have a plasma cutter but the grinder and punch work great. Just remember to grind the head flush.

I have always used the grinder and made a 2 cuts all the way down to the frame, making 1 horizontal and 1 vertical will make the air chisel and punch easier.

center punch the hole and grind the head flush...works est for me ,a drill bit also will work....
