gas tank leak -

I just filled my tank and I started to smell gas, and pulled the seat back to find it leaking - I think it was from the inside ring, not the outside, but I was wondering what the fix was -? Not fill it so far? Is there a seal?

Re: gas tank leak -

There is a rubber "o" ring under the sending unit. The outer lock ring is on top of the sending unit. Would be my guess the "o"ring is shot and needs to be replaced,,,,,yesterday. I would start there and see if that fixes it. Most of the board vendors should have the "o" ring and probably won't cost 10.00-12.00 plus shipping.

Until you get it replaced don't fill it up so far.

OR you could swap to a blazer tank mounted in the rear under the bed.

Thumbs up Re: gas tank leak -

I saw a gas kit the other day in Advance for the twist locks with a assortment of o-rings.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
