Re: I'll delete this after...

No clue on the list, but I think CST is a trim level and isn't related to 4wd...

CST: custom sport truck. It is just an option level.

...I believe the CST was an option for 67-70 model years. Then in 71-72 the packages changed to Cheyenne and Cheyenne Super levels. These levels were options for 2wd or 4wd, 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton and so forth.

Re: I'll delete this after...

I believe the only badges that denoted 2wd or 4wd were "c" for 2wd and k for 4wd

IE,,,,c10,c20,c30 were 2wd and the k10,k20,k30 were 4wd

Re: I'll delete this after...

unless it's a blazer then CST was used through 72. still only a trim package, nothing to do with 2wd or 4wd.

Re: I'll delete this after...

Also, no "K" badges except for the blazer and i believe that was used on the 2wd also.

Re: I'll delete this after...

alright, thank you. Im looking at a 70 CST, factory tach, original radio still intact, factory tilt, and some other stuff. i could not tell if it was a 2wd or 4wd, and it wasnt stated. i thought it looked like a 4wd because of the tires, but who knows.

This I did not realized. I thought the CST was ended as an option for the trucks in 70. Again 67-72 101 is paying off.

...Also according to my 69 ... Seriously though, my CST was just a trim level, as far as all my research took me, which seems to agree with what everyone else is saying here as well

Re: I'll delete this after...

Wikipedia is so full of inacuracys it isn't funny.
CST did stop at the end of 70, replaced with the cheyenne... but it was the same option.
And, as indicated, the blazers kept the CST name.
CST includes mostly trim and upgraded int materials.
