Got a new Truck
I have been working on a deal with a local truck owner to trade trucks and we finally did it today. I came to the realization that I need a 4x4, so naturally I started searching the local ads to see what was out there. About the third page of the ads I forund someone who wanted a 2wd SWB or $2000. Since I was looking to sell mine and then buy a 4x4, i thought what the hell, maybe it could happen. Well it did and here she is:
305/700r4 4wd works Great interior No cracks in the dash!!! Plans are to swap the front clip off of the 83 Burb I have along with the motor(454) and possibly the rear end and anything else I can pull off of the burb for good use and find a Dana 60 or 44 for the front and 37"-38" tires in the future.

I will see if I can get any info on them. They don't seem to sturdy in my opinion.

Re: Got a new Truck
So what did you have to give up in return? Pictures of the truck you traded?
I am in a similar but opposite situation; have a 4x4 swb but am going to move it down the road and considering a 2wd swb.

Re: Got a new Truck
Awesome looking truck. Should be sweet when you get it all finished up. Can't wait to see it.
