Donations for my 100mpg conversion... please!

Oh, if I only had an extra $28,000 lying around! Check out this article...

It says... "His target for Neil Young's car? One hundred miles per gallon."

Re: Donations for my 100mpg conversion... please!

I work with John, we do all his accessories and such for his builds. It's pretty cool stuff what he is doing, the Neal young deal was on CNN a couple weeks ago, it was funny as hell, after they got done with the interview they were doing burn outs for the camera in the Escalade that they swapped a duramax into. The reporter asks John if he can do one so John says sure so he hops behind the wheel, cameras still rolling, puts it in drive one foot on the brake one foot on the gas and just as the tires start smokeing it hits gravel and starts really spinning, then the 26's hit pavement and BOOM their goes the custm built curry 9" the camera man looks like he just got shot and the drive shaft is flayling around under the escalade, for once in my life I saw a reporter with out something to say! It was priceless!!! Here is a pic of the escalade from SEMA, depending on what tune is being used the truck gets about 35 miles to the gallon and can put about 800hp to the ground!

I personally don't think it's possible for him to get the 100mpg he is after but then again thats what he loves to be told! But I hope he pulls it off, its really fun going over thier.

I saw the 'pimp my ride' episode. Watching that car blow away the lambo was so cool.
