Repop Grill question...
I just received a repop outer grill for my '69. I also got the brackets and hardware kit. In the kit there are these aluminum pins with rivets on the end, are these for attaching the grill to the brackets? If they are, how do I go about doing that?

Re: Repop Grill question...
sin,
you will need get a pop rivet gun to attach the rivets for the outer grille supports. these "guns" are like a pair of pliers that pull the pin through the rivet and at a certain tension, they will pop off. you can either pick up a cheap pair through places like Harbor Freight or the nicer ones through Sears. I just installed a 69 grille myself. pretty easy. post a pic of your truck with it's shiny new teeth when you get it installed! |

Re: Repop Grill question...
Make sure you install the rivets with the grill in the truck bolted to the brackets and the the fenders and set where it needs to be for proper alignment
