Air Conditioning Kits

I'm currently restoring a '56 3200 Chevy Pickup. It's actually more of a preservation than a restoration, really. It's all original, even the paint. Extremely little rust, so we're going to leave it as is since such examples are getting rarer and rarer. It's going to have a mechanical makeover and some safety upgrades, though. I've already installed a power brake booster, for example. Getting back to my question, though, has anyone had luck installing an air conditioner in their vintage pickup? I found these two links to a couple kits, anyone have any input?

The one's nearly half the price as the other. Alternatives? Other ideas? I hate coming on just to ask questions, but I really appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

Re: Air Conditioning Kits

I used Vintage Air in both of mine and they fit great. The kit even comes with an original type controller that fits perfectly in the original hole.........
