Steering Wheel
anyone have an idea which year and vehicle this steering wheel came out of

I would say around 70's Monty Carlo. That's my guess.

thanks guys, it didn't look like a truck steering wheel to me. I just couldn't quite place what it came out of

Is that Camaro in a junkyard? We dont see too many 71 SS camaro's in junkyards around here. theres quite a few plane jane camaro's but SS packages are hard to come by. I'd still like to pick up a 70-72 RS - SS .
I kick myself for not buying a 72 RS-SS 396 4 speed ( how many of those do you think were built? ) I was offered last year for $1200. It needed help but it was all there. I was looking for a truck at the time so I turned it down.

68_GMC_910 is right. I had a '71 Camaro with that exact steering wheel. Wish I still had that Camaro.

That wheel is the exact same as my 1971 Monte wheel...
Except for the "Chevrolet" script on the wheel in the picture. The Monte Carlo one I have says, "Monte Carlo" in script.

I had a '71 Bel-Air that had that wheel on it. 350-2 powerslide, 3 months later put in a T350 tranny. Sixteen year olds are hard on powerglides
It was a white 4-door and looked close to the Caprices the cops drove back then......

I am buying a 76 or 77 monte carlo that has a good engine in it, and it has a wheel just like that but dark red. Anyone want the rest of the car (or any parts from it)? I will make someone a real good deal on it
