I've seen at least 2 lwb steps in Arkansas both was 1967 with small back windows.

They always made long steps up till '87. I think '60 was the first year for the short step.

Heres a pic of a 69 longstep, and they even made a C-30 thats bed was 10" longer than this.

Gotta say I like the looks of these longsteps. I still haven't seen a real live one but from the pics they look great. I've found a few other pics on the web but usually they're not straight from the side like that. Very nice. I may have to get a little more serious about trying to find a longstep box for minbe (when I get the funds together).
