2"/4" Drop Pictures Wanted.

I'm fixin to do a 2"/4" spring drop on my 64 C10. I'd like to see some pics from others that have done this, just trying to get an idea of what it's going to look like after the drop? Please post up if you have any pics! Thanks...

Re: 2"/4" Drop Pictures Wanted.

Not sure what the drop measurments are, but here's my 63 after 2 coils cut off the front springs and 60ish Chevelle springs in the rear. Pretty sure it's more than 2/4

Re: 2"/4" Drop Pictures Wanted.

...this is a 3"/4" on a 66 longbed.......it hard to drop them exactly 3" or 4" because they do settle some after awhile....

Re: 2"/4" Drop Pictures Wanted.

If I wanted to do more then 4" in the rear I would have to notch the frame...right?

Re: 2"/4" Drop Pictures Wanted.

You only need to notch the frame if you want to lay frame on the ground.. if you want to go 4 or 5 " you need an adjustable panard bar, so you can line up the rear end..

Re: 2"/4" Drop Pictures Wanted.

Well, I went ahead and ordered a 2"/4" drop kit. If I get the parts before this weekend I may have time to do the install Saturday. I'll post pics once it's done...

No. I used the stock one and just relocated the mounting hole in the crossmember. Moved it over a couple inches or so.

Thanks! She's my baby. My tires are Futura Super Sports from Pep Boys. They are 215-65r15's. They were originally a raised white letter that I had 'buffed' into a www.
