Quick frame question
Are there any differences in the frames on 67-72 chevy c10's? I have a '72 and I am looking at a short frame from a '68. I know the obvious stuff like the 6 hole/5 hole stuff but I am wanting to know if the frame rails themselves are different? The control arms? Cross members? etc.. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Quick frame question
Power steering box indent will not be on the '68, unless it had power steering, and trans crossmember from standard to auto are different. Other than that someone wiser will have to chime in. And the ball joints are different on the '72.

Re: Quick frame question
The frame rails are wider at the motor mounts on my 68 and need to trim for BB mounts.

Re: Quick frame question
Two of the bolt holes for the front crossmember will be slightly off if you try to bolt the 72 crossmember to the 68 frame. Just slightly enlongate them.
Some of the rear brake hose tabs are slightly different too. Steering box dimple like shown above.
