when i mash on it i hear a loud popping noise what is it it is in rapid sucection

yeh i need to play whit my timing its not running right could advancingor retarding my timing help gas miles

You could also have a flat cam, loose rocker(I just had this happen, it did exactly what your was doing!), or your timing is too adanced. Sounds like its firing with the one of the valves still open, set your timing with a timing light and you should be good to go!

ill check the rockers tomarrow the timing will have to wait till thursday night when im in the schools shop till 900
