linkage help 4l80

This is question is for the guys that have done the new egine swap(5.3 4l80). My question is how do you shift into gear. Do someone make a linkage kit or do you use the stock linkage. I had the stock linkage working for a while but when I would drive it I would have to hold the sifter from dropping to a low gear.

You can use the stock linkage or the one from Kugel. I have a new Kugel linkage in my shop that I would sell for cheap.

Re: linkage help 4l80

Here's some info on Lokar. I used the rod type cause it is fully adjustable & easy to install. I got mine cheaper than here though. If I remember where I got it, I'll let you know. I only paid around $47 for mine. That was 2 years back.

Re: linkage help 4l80

If you go with the Kugel you'll need the long rod 17"-23". It's all stainless and fit's TH 700R and 4L80.
