X-pipe kit installed
I took BADBOW to have the X-pipe kit installed today. I pickup the truck after graduation tomorrow!! After 2.5 years, I graduate with my MBA!! If the weather is nice, I'm smoking the tires off the truck. I had a little extra work done too. Adaptors for the ram air box were welded into the radiator support. The adaptors go from 3" to 4". I'll take pictures as soon as possible to post.

Re: X-pipe kit installed
My car needed louder mufflers the day I put my Xpipe on it.
I hope you are as happy with yours as I am with mine.

Re: X-pipe kit installed
It sure as heck looks nice, but I'm curious as to why it's installed so far back. You want it as close to the collectors as possible to create a scavenging effect (usually people put it right at the trans tailshaft), but it should sound really good regardless! Get some video of it!

Re: X-pipe kit installed
I asked the muffler shop to tuck it up. Don't need extra drag under the truck.
355+ HP should be easier now. If I tune up the truck you can bet I'll bet on video. I need to reroute the looms. Pictures of the 88 Vette wires with BowTie loom. I installed the wires quickly so I could take the truck to the shop. Now that school is over I'll have more time to continue working on the truck. I only need to fix the head lights for an inspection sticker. |
