rubber fuel line in the cab -

Does anyone know it's O.K. to run rubber fuel line from the sending unit in the tank to the floor, and then switching back to metal fuel line on the frame? I can understand why not to run it around the motor, but in the cab, I can't see any problems. I was wondering if anyone has done this.

it's not the prefered method, but at least you'll have no doubt there's a problem once it rots away.

Dang you guys, always throwing a stick in the works. I guess I'll use my little 7 dollar tube bender from Harbor Frieght to make it work.

Re: rubber fuel line in the cab -

I ran rubber from the fuel sender down to metal that ran through the floor...had a little bit of rubber from the cab to the frame to allow it to flex a little...never had any problems...
