Fresh Air Vents - Gloss or Satin or Flat?

I have mine apart to change the seals and was wondering what was the original paint type. Right now I have one coat of black primer and one coat of high gloss. Not sure it looks right.

Any thoughts?

should be a semi gloss black or interior color (blue, green etc.) with same sheen as rest of interior.
