Updated pics of the '83.
I've done a few more things to the truck in the last few weeks. Got a new grille, headlight bezels and headlights. Scored a hood ornament at the junkyard and put that on. I painted the inside of the pass. door (was red) and put in the door panel, primed (black) the pass. door and fender...My lady worked hard cleaning up the inside. Here are some pics...

Thanks, Guys. I was going to prime it gray. I bought a gallon the other day, but I decided to spray some black primer on some of the mis-matched parts. I really like how the black primer looks. I may go that route now... I'll keep you posted...jc
