I'm in SE Portland. Lotsa of nice old chevy work trucks here in Portland. Then again you notice them more when you own one...

5 miles out of Amity Oregon on Eola Hills. I have a 1961 SWB 2 wheel drive with a 235 six and 4 speed. Mostly stock. I also have a 1950 pickup with a 283 turbo 350, nova rear, Mustang II front. Both are projects. I plan to drive the 50 to the April swap meet in Portland. The 61 runs and drives now but is running a flat bed and I would like to find a fleetside box. I did not care for the 61 hood and grille at first but they have grown on me and I really like them now.

I'm from Eugene as well. Most of my efforts go into my 65, but i recently acquired a 61 from Grants Pass for the complete apache trim it had. Just need to get it running

I've heard that. Not sure why, I'm not from here (grew up in Sonoma CA). Hillsboro used to be primarily a farming community, but now it's like the silicon valley of the NW (silicon forest).

Hi all Oregonians, I'm just north of Hillsborrito in a farming town of North Plains. My project truck is my wifes dads 66 step side. My wife and all her siblings used this truck to get there drivers license. If any you Oregonians have a rust free left door and fender let me know.
