Re: jimmy delivery ?

It's not rare. Quite a few Blazers/ Jimmys came without rear seats.

Re: jimmy delivery ?

All the seats except the driver's seat were options. The fact that it is a 2wd Jimmy is fairly rare though. If it is a 70, it's about the rarest Jimmy/Blazer you can find.

Re: jimmy delivery ?

It wouldn't have the holes if it wasn't shipped from the factory or added at the dealership.

Re: jimmy delivery ?

The early Blazer/Jimmy's were really a bit wacko---in come cases seats, sun visors, 4x4, door windows, were all options. Wouldn't be surpirzed that they offered a stripped out delivery version as GM etc. offered products for commercial applications that were so rare most were discontinued after the first year of offering. Re: jimmy delivery ?

I was told by a older gentalman alot of the 2 wheel drives came with only a drivers seat and were mail trucks. Not sure how true the info is.

Re: jimmy delivery ?

My Blazer came without a rear seat. No holes and the spare tire was mounted directly behind the drivers seat.

Re: jimmy delivery ?

If you were to put a seat in it, there is crossmember that mounts on the underside you should get.
