What do you use to clean the interior metal with?

I have pretty bad allergies, I was wondering what kind/type of chemicals do you use. Maybe windex to clean the interior metal like the roof and dash?

Anyone who has tips or any other ideas

409 can work pretty good just keep it off of clear plastic like in your bezels it can and will cause them to cloud up.

Rent a Rug Doctor and clean your carpet and seat if cloth thats where most of your problems are. The other thing to do is remove your vent hoses and replace lots of crap in there as well.

Try to find a cleaner called Spray Nine. It is a degreaser/disinfectant, used in hospitals it'll kill HIV... good stuff. Does AWESOME on painted metals, rubber, vinal... pretty much the whole truck.

Re: What do you use to clean the interior metal with?

All this is good and all will "kill" your plastic parts...clear and chrome.Take extra care.Either cover these parts or spray cleaner on rag and wipe. Also, rinse all areas.Hit all metal with wax to make it easier to clean next time.Next time you can prolly use a mild cleaner like car wash or ivory dish soap.
I like that Spray 9.Stuff really works on old scum. No,I don`t shower with it.
Whatever you clean your vinyl (seat, dash pad, etc.) with, follow with a product that`ll condition it like an Armoral product. The cleaner will "dry" the material out.
