help picking out a system

I'm looking at a Pioneer DEH-P5900iB head unit, is this anygood?

I'm planning on fabbing up some kick panels to house a 6.5" in each and 6.5s or 6x9s in the upper cab corner area. Any suggestions on what speakers to use? I don't know much about what's good and bad.

Oh, and I plan to put shallow mount 10"s or 12" under or behind my seats.
Amp suggestions?

Pioneer is a great stereo. That is all I run in my cars and trucks. It's also my best seller. For speakers it all depends on what your budget is and what kind of sound you are looking for.

My personal suggestion is to go with all Pioneer equipment. 6x9's in the corners and some 6.5"s in the kicks. Pioneer also makes the shallow mount subs you're talking about and some low profile amps that will fit nicely under the seat.
