I thought it was a 4 door but was fooled by the fake door handle on the drivers side as the listing has it down as a 3 door.

Thanks for the kind words. I am lookig at buyiny a 1971 CHevy truck today just for the tailgate, maybe using the entire bed. It is a 3/4 ton long bed that is a good truck but lots of them around here.

I am confused. i looked at hart rods roof and the roof of the truck on ebay. how can some of you say you like his (rod's) roof better. IMO the rear windows look silly on his truck. the square suburban windows and roof of the red truck on ebay look waay better. Am i missing something?

rob, i missed something... your other pics show the rear windows on your truck as being rounded.. what was involved in putting the suburban rear doors on yours? looks way better?

I also think the roof is too high and the flow is not there with the back of the cab using the stock Suburbans rear door. As for the fake drivers rear door.........This is just my .02 as I believe if CHevy would have built it they woudl have used the rounded window frame on the rear doors.

I also think its a nice ride but the rear roof line just does not seem to flow too well.

I plan on using the suburban front doors on mine. I like the looks of the rounded section on the rear doors.

I too like the way the windows on Rod's flow into the roof line. Matches up nicely. Although, I'd take that red 71 in a heartbeat if someone was to offer it up as an Xmas present!

I hate beatin up on e-bay trucks all the time.... BUT I can and do pick my cars and trucks apart for hours as well and I built them.... Nice truck.. I agree the roof may not be the best way to go but it was pulled off well.. HOLLY FREAKING TWEED!!!!!!! 50Gs Large this baby should be loaded with leather.. My personal taste I rather see a stock interior rather than all the tweed...
