Re: Who's going to put this under my Christmas tree???

Here's some more info about the build of this truck....

Up for auction is one of the nicest C-10'S in the country!!!
This truck has had a total redesign look for 2007 but still has that C-10 look that is a little diffrent. The plains on the design of this truck was to create a real clean look with some authority. Wanted to try as close as possible to keep it from being a truck that had been choped up and had to much of a look that would make the truck look out of place. So the game plan was to start with a bare frame and make sure that is was cleaned and vated and then the only thing that had to be changed on the frame was to c-notch it where we could get some killer tires under the truck. Once that was done then a big block was set in the frame for a mock up for what was really going into this bad boy. The frame was then painted several coats. Then the work begain now take in mind to build a truck you have to stick with your game plan in order to know about how much money it was going to cost to build and the goal was to keep it under 100 thousand. Get to what was done we found a rust free cab and a pretty good bed floor. Bed floor is about the only thing that you can't buy new. but this one was in pretty good shape but it still took many hour to get it to a 10. After a year of working on this truck it was coming all together and it made its first show down at the Dallas Auto Rama where it took top awards like Best in class Outstanding truck & outstanding engine and if you have ever attended a isca car show everyone that is anyone they set up all the displays and light and you know what i'm talking about. well this truck scored a 97 and 100 being the best just because i had no display and got deducted for that. But lets just tell you what it did from there and anyone that has built a truck that has dome what this one has in just one year will understand what kind of truck this really is.

Re: Who's going to put this under my Christmas tree???

I saw that thing at the Ft Worth show. Holy crap! It's as nice as they say. Almost too nice to actually drive. Almost too nice to roast those rear skins off as you go sideways down the road....
