77 Short bed pictures
I posted about this truck about two weeks ago . I did not have the time to get pics until this weekend . Here it is .
454 Th400 Locking diff Silverado Tilt Tach Rallys A/C Power steering Sport rear bumper Dual tanks Heavy duty springs Etc. All on the factory trim tag I am the second owner . The title came in Thursday .It needs a total restoration but I figure Big Block trucks with several factory options will be worth something one day so I bought it . What do you think ?

Re: 77 Short bed pictures
Once again you score a sweet original truck. No she may not be as shiny as the past few, but she looks solid as a rock. Nice truck Frank....

Re: 77 Short bed pictures
Nice truck. Love that options list!
That hitch on the back looks VERY familiar. My old 78 Silverado had a factory sport bumper and I guess at some point in time someone installed a hitch just like that. I always wondered if it was an aftermarket piece or if someone had homemade it. |

Re: 77 Short bed pictures
It's an aftermarket item. It may have been dealer installed though. My 82 Blazer had one on it when I bought it from the original owner.

Re: 77 Short bed pictures
Thanks for the opinions . Yes this is the truck that will eventuelly get a new cab . The sunroof is there . My kids loved the sunroof and aftermarket bucket seats . We went for a ride yesterday in it because my normal driver has a 350 in the bed I need to unload . The 454 in the front really improves the ride quality of the truck . This thing rides /drives great . Frank

I vote for just driving it for awhile as is before tearing into it, -- it looks like fun (i would probably change the wheels back to silver and get a chrome gas cap though) --- it may need a resto. job, but its definitely not a beater Unless your the type that cant sit still until you tear into it and fix all of the "deficiencies" --- if thats you - let the wrenches fly, and take plenty of pics!
