body molding

anybody out there have anything beside the original molding on their trucks... ive come up with some different ideas but would like to hear thoughts, opinions, answers and well if you got them id like to see some pictures too..... im just curious

what ever you do dont put that chrome looking trim with the 3m glue on it you get at the local parts store the chrome will come off leaving a plastic looking stuff, the black trim isnt bad, but I like the stock trim if any is on it.

At the time I rebuilt this truck 14 years ago, I couldn't find any of the OEM molding that was any good , so I used The late 80's GMC rubber molding on the lower, and Mid 80's Ford F 150 rubber molding for the upper. It has held up pretty well and still looks ok. Eventually , I plan to put the original stuff back on since it's available as reproduction pieces now.
