sorry about the lack of detail, i kind of rushed posted that half asleep last night

ill snap a pic here in a bit, my camera is on its way back to wal mart to be exchanged... the zoom lens motor went out

includes one light bulb, one socket assembly, and approx. 6" of wire. a couple of them have less, but minimum of 3". these come out of GM cars, but fit directly into 67-72 gloveboxes. there is a spot on the fuse block marked glovebox & spot lamp, that you can tap right into. all you need is a section of wire to run from the fuse block to the light, one blue butt connector, and one 1/4" spade connector

Most of these come in black, one in 50 or so is gray... no idea what he has in his hands though;


They pop right into the hole in the upper left hand corner of the glove box, both A/C and non A/C trucks. While it was never a factory installed option, it was a dealer installed option, and can wired just as blue said.

I looked at wiring up a glove box light for my 70' GMC because I like a truck that is factory functional even if it is more of a hot rod then factory stock. I looked at all the lights that truck suppliers were offering and it would appear that their is no difference between car or truck lights.

The one you see in my glove box is new and has been kicking around the shop for years. It fits, looks correct and is a 53 / 62 Corvette light so the supplier say's. I think it's what ever you want it to be personaly.
