My gear select is off center to the left. The P.O. had the steering box rebuilt. Is there a way to adjust back to center?

Not to threadjack here...but.

I have to do this as well - just drove my project to work today (maiden voyage)...

How far can you reposition (turn) the column before it has issues?

mine is a bit wobbly as well (gear selector lever on column) - any way to tighten that up as well while I am doing this?

Steering column mounts? The one that hooks to the dash inside? I suppose I need to remove the upper linkage from the trans to the column, adjust the threads and re attach?

My shifter is a little loose also, I think it's the pin attachment where it goes into the column is sloppy. Not sure how to fix that unless I get a new housing?

theres also thec mount on the firewall that needs to be loosened to rotate the column//yes you may need a slight adjustment on the limnkage where it connects to the column lever
